I wanted to use up some of my hand dyed fabrics and I saw something like this online one day, a very traditional pattern. I love the way the fabric looks like stained glass.
I had a fun few days dyeing new fabric which I'll post about tomorrow.
I am still painting too.
I just finished my last hand dyed quilt, and I am looking for another project to use my hand dyes in. This is just perfect, cut as you go, and it will sew up easy. Thank you for the idea. Your quilt is stunning, it does look a lot like stained glass, it just glows! I hope mine will turn out as nice.
